Dear members,
Due to a lack of interest, it was decided at our AGM that the club would be suspended indefinitely. Official notice will be distributed to members shortly once details are finalized.

To vote you need to be present at the AGM and a member in good standing. If you become a member the evening of the AGM you can vote at the following AGM. The executive positions are President, Secretary, Treasurer, Show Director, Education Director, Fundraising Director and Youth Director. To run for an executive position you need to have been a member in good standing for a minimum of one year and be present at the AGM. If you would like to run for an executive position, contact one of the present executive before the AGM on November 2^nd. The club is in need of individuals who are willing to work conscientiously to keep our club a thriving endeavour and keep the club’s mandate alive. If there are not enough people to fulfill the roles of responsibility future directions of the club need to be discussed.

The Agriplex

Need directions to the Agriplex? From Thunder Bay take Arthur Street or 11/17 to Twin City Cross Roads and take a left. Follow it out just a little past where the map indicates and you'll find it on the left hand side. Northlands is happy to support the Agriplex by hosting our next 2 shows there. Food and drink will be available for sale. Please bring your water from home, the venue does not have water. Hope to see you out there!

Manure Fundraiser

About 80 bags of black gold were bagged on May 8th and about half of them have been sold. If you would like to buy some, or know anyone who might, please give Marian a call at 935-2147. Price is $4.50 per 50 lb bag.

Update: There were 20 bags left as of May 25th!

Fundraising Update

We are planning to do a 1 day (with rain date) manure fundraiser. It will take place on a weekend in May and the number of bags available for purchase will be limited. Customers will be able to pick up on one day only. As last year, Diane Vissou's manure pile will be used. At our next meeting, Tuesday, May 4th we will decide on a bagging day. If you have empty bags you are able to donate, please let us know!

Donate your cans and tins to Northlands. Every bit helps! Cans can be brought to meetings and given to Marian.

We are seeking sponsors for the 2010 season. If you'd like a copy of our donation request letter please let us know.

Linda Weldon Clinic
